A. Scope: The implementation of the following Terms and Conditions will cover all the branches of the LBC Group of Companies (“LBC”), including branches that are owned by agents or partners. Matters that are not set forth in the LBC website and posters shall be subject to the other applicable rules displayed in the branches. By signing these Terms and Conditions, the Shipper agrees that he/she has read and understood these Terms and Conditions and all other applicable rules and agree that they will be bound by the same.
B. Customer Identification: Incomplete/ Unverifiable/ Dubious Shipper identification will not be accepted by any LBC branch. All first time Shippers and Beneficiaries (“CUSTOMERS”) of LBC shall be required to fill-out the required LBC identification form. Prior to filling in the required LBC identification form, Customers are required to present a photo bearing ID that is recognized as valid by the rules and regulation of the Philippines. In the event that the Customer provides information that is false or inaccurate, LBC has the right not to accept the said Customer’s transaction. This is without prejudice to the filing of the necessary civil, criminal or administrative cases in the court of law, if the circumstances so warrant.
C. Anti-Money Laundering Law: By signing these Terms and Conditions, the Shipper confirms that he/she is aware of the provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing Laws of the Philippines and that he/she attests that the transactions herein are not illegal, unauthorized, wrongful or questionable under the said laws and that all funds remitted come from his/her legitimate undertakings.
D. Exchange Rate/Charges: LBC reserves the right to change any of its exchange rates/charges without prior notice. Such changes will be applied immediately. Payout to the Beneficiaries of the Shippers will be, unless otherwise agreed, in the currency of the destination country.
E. Limitation of Liability: LBC shall not be liable for the following: (a) For losses or damages arising from acts of God or force majeure which are beyond the control of LBC. (b) For loss or damage caused by unavoidable circumstances, disasters, accidents, wars, restrictions under the Philippine and Foreign Laws; (c) For losses or damages caused by reasons that are attributable to the Customer (d) For all other losses or damages that are not attributable to LBC.
F. LBC’s Rights: 1) All transactions cannot be reversed or cancelled after the remitted amount has been disbursed or received by the Beneficiary. 2) If for any reason, the amount sent through the remittance transaction is not claimed by the Beneficiary without the fault of LBC, the Shipper has to pay additional fee for the returned/ cancelled or removed transaction the amount of which shall be equivalent to the service charge initially collected. 3) For losses and damages arising out of the fault or negligence of LBC, LBC’s liability is limited only to actual damages. 4) LBC reserves the right to refuse acceptance of transaction if: (a) any condition in these Terms and Conditions are not satisfied; or (b) if payout would be unlawful.
G. Unclaimed Monies: In order to claim any unclaimed monies, the Shipper is obliged to visit the LBC branch, where the transaction originated from, within 30 days from the date the said transaction and fill-out a Remittance Instruction Form.
H. Miscellaneous Information: 1) The Shipper warrants that he has Legal Capacity and Capacity to Act on the day of the transaction, that all information given is true and correct, and that all applicable laws and regulations have been complied with. 2) LBC has the right to freeze, put on hold or cancel any transaction if the Customer’s name match the names listed in database of watch list such as but not limited to OFAC, OSFI, EU, UNSL or upon order of competent authority. 3) The Shipper has the obligation to inform his/her beneficiary about the remittance sent and these terms and conditions.
I. Venue of Actions: 1) Any Court Action arising from this contract shall be brought in the proper court of Pasay City, Philippines to the exclusion of all other courts. 2) These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines.
J. Separability Clause: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held to be invalid, the other provisions, and the application of such provisions to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected thereby.

How will entries be drawn?
Authorized LBC and DTI Representative/s shall be assigned to officially draw the weekly and Major Raffle winners at the LBC Philippines Office located at the 5/F of Star Cruises Centre, Newport Cybertourism Zone, Pasay City 1300.
The Tracking Numbers from transactions with LBC from October 19, 2012will undergo an electronic raffle system, where

For validation of identity, LBC shall require the prize claimant to present and submit a copy of any of the two documents:

May I send a representative to claim my prize?

In case of dispute over prize claim, LBC’s decision shall be binding and final.
Until when may I claim my prize?
All prizes are valid for redemption within 60 days from date of receipt of registered notifications, after which they shall be forfeited in favor of LBC, upon approval from DTI.
1. How much will I pay if I will avail the retail pickup?
Pick-up service is free of charge. You will only pay for the courier service fee.
2. What are the service modes that I can avail in the retail pickup?
You may avail Door to door for documents, parcels and air cargo transactions while Door to Door and Door to Pier for sea transactions.
3. How will I pay the shipping fee on retail pickup?
Payment will be made upon pick-up of item/s to be sent. Our pickup associate will issue receipt once customer handed the payment. For Sea Cargo transactions, sender may opt for the freight collect option wherein consignee will pay for the shipping fees. 4. What is the delivery lead time for shipments accepted thru retail pickup?
Next day* delivery for air transactions except for areas with 48 hours delivery commitment. 6 days for Door to Pier while 7 days for Door to Door on sea transactions. *No Sunday delivery.
5. What are the prohibited items for shipping?
For documents, parcels and air cargo, please see General FAQ item 10 – “What are the Prohibited Items”. For Sea Cargo, prohibited items are as follows:

6. What is the cut off time for pickup?
For documents, parcels and air transactions, you need to book before 1pm so that we can collect your item the same day.
